The 2016 Comeaux Band Eighth Grade Night will be held on Friday, November 4th at the Comeaux vs Lafayette High Football Game.  Interested students may call the band room 981-1096 for more information.  The music to be played may be found by clicking on each of the following: Fight Song, Cheer Pack, Boogie Shoes.

Auditions

Auditions are used for placement in the Comeaux Band Classes.  All students should audition during May of the preceding year. Directors will schedule times at all feeder schools (Broussard M.S., Milton M.S., Paul Breaux M.S. and Youngsville M.S.) to hear auditions.  The middle school director will have the date of the auditions.  If your director has not informed you of the audition day, please feel free to contact us about this matter.

You should be prepared to play all of the scales you know, in as many octaves as you are able.  Also, you should prepare the music that was required for District Honor Band Auditions that year.  If you have questions or concerns regarding the materials, please contact the band office @ 981-1096
